Arrival Time:

Arrival Time & Late Arrival Policy

Arrival Time
It is essential to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled session. This allows you to settle in and ensures we can begin promptly. By arriving early, we can prevent any loss of session value or potential cancellation.

Respect for Time
I value each client’s time and invest significant effort into planning and organizing each session. Your punctuality allows me to provide the best possible service to all of my clients. I appreciate your understanding and respect for my schedule.

Late Arrival
I understand that life can be unpredictable sometimes. If you are running late, please reach out to me as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that your session time begins at the scheduled start time, not upon your arrival.

Below are the consequences for late arrivals:

  • Up to 30 minutes late: Shooting time will be shortend by the minutes you are late. For example, if you have a 90-minute session and arrive 17 minutes late, your session will be shortened to 73 minutes. If you are 25 minutes late, it will be shortened to 65 minutes.
  • More than 30 minutes late: The session will be cancelled without refund of the session retainer.

Impact on Session Value
Please note that the duration of your session directly affects the number of images you can choose from during your viewing session. Arriving on time not only ensures a smooth and efficient experience but also maximizes the value of your session.

Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to our time together!

Frequently asked

When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?

The ideal time for a maternity photo shoot is when you can proudly showcase your baby bump while still feeling comfortable, typically between 30 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. Scheduling the shoot too late may lead to discomfort and the possibility of missing the opportunity if your baby arrives early. Conversely, if you schedule it too early, you might not capture the full beauty of your belly and the emotions that come with anticipating your little one’s arrival.

What should I wear?

To ensure your skin remains unmarked for your session, it’s advisable to remove any tight or elastic clothing at least two hours beforehand. Opting for a loose-fitting dress can help keep your skin smooth, which is particularly important if you’re planning on nude or semi-nude portraits. I have a selection of maternity gowns available for you to use during the session, but feel free to bring your own as well. Anything that highlights your beautiful pregnant belly is ideal, with stretchy or lace materials being especially suitable.

Once you finalize your booking, I will send you a maternity session guide that covers everything you need to know, including clothing choices, makeup tips, hair styling, and accessory suggestions. This guide is designed to ensure that you feel confident and prepared for your session.

Do i have to know how to pose?

You don’t need any prior experience with posing; I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way. If you have any insecurities about your body, such as stretch marks or other areas you might feel self-conscious about, we can address those concerns together. I will work with you to find poses that flatter your figure and help you feel more at ease. Additionally, if you wish, we can enhance the images during post-processing to further minimise any concerns.

What happens after my session?

Where does the session take place?

I will take your beautiful photos in my cozy little studio located in the Adelaide Foot Hills. The studio is designed to provide a comfortable environment for my clients, offering lots of different props, dresses and backdrops that enhance the creative process.

Do you offer Any Discounts?

I’m pleased to offer a 10% discount on the session fee price if you agree that I can use your photos for my portfolio and promotional purposes. This is a great opportunity for both of us, as it not only helps me showcase my work but also provides you with a more affordable option. By signing a model release form agreement, you’ll be contributing to my creative process while enjoying the benefits of a reduced rate.

However please note, the 10 % discount are only on the session fee price but is not valid on the package price or on price for additional purchased images.

Can I Suggest ideas and bring Props?

Absolutely! This maternity session is all about you, and I’m here to help every step of the way. I will provide guidance on posing, outfit choices and props to ensure we capture the essence of this beautiful moment in your life. However, I also encourage you to share any inspirations you may have. Collecting some of your favourite maternity pictures can be a fantastic way to visualize your ideas and communicate them with me. Visual references make it easier for us to discuss concepts and ensure we’re on the same page.

However, it is important to remember that while we can draw inspiration from various sources, the images we create together will be entirely unique to you. Each photographer has it’s own style, and our session will reflect your personality and the special journey you are on. So, let’s embrace the creative process and make something truly memorable that captures this special time in your life.
